Head of Merchandise Planning (m/f/d)


Your tasks

  • Drive the merchandise range architecture and planning for the Bogner seasonal collections
  • Develop a channel specific buying process for DTC and the WHS business for pre-seasonal planning
  • Lead key projects to integrate the new range optimization strategy by collaborating with Brand and Sales teams
  • Enable the OTB planning and management, defining range volumes and provide range packages
  • Drive the pre-season planning and steer in-season trading decisions to meet omni-channel stock requirements
  • Design and develop a merchandising data warehouse of key KPI’s to enable advance analytics
  • Working closely with the Merchandising Director to design and drive the seasonal planning processes
  • Define the seasonal range framework input to the brand teams to ensure optimal range is delivered for sell in
  • Drive the input/output commercial feedback process for seasonal planning
  • Build key modules of ranges for all channels and sizes/locations
  • Manage the OTB budgets for omni-channel and recommendation for WHS to drive range efficiency
  • Delivery of key KPIs and tools pre and post seasonal planning
  • Defining the GTM planning process for seasonal sell in
  • Close coordination with all departments in the Digital and Retail team (Buying, Web Shop Management, Operations, Content Management, Digital Marketing)
  • Responsible for effective flow of stock from OR/FR including to assure product relevance in regular stores, adequate stock clearance and margin optimisation
  • Ensure end of season stock management is optimised by effectively managing and driving the  in-season replenishment
  • Build a class leading in-house merchandising E2E process to enable smooth delivery from creation to sell out
  • Build and leverage relationships with cross-functional achieve business objectives
  • Drive key merchandising projects to deliver excellence in the business processes
  • Work with IT and key members to design and develop leading merchandising and planning systems

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of core merchandising, planning and buying experience in the luxury sports or fashion industry
  • University degree in business administration with merchandising and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • Acquires a strong skill set on data mining and advance analytics
  • Broad knowledge of DTC operations, supply planning and good knowledge of other business functional
  • Experience in leading and developing Teams - ensure organizational efficiency through effective motivation, training and development of the internal teams using prior experience in people management and foster strong relationships and team spirit
  • Good understanding of brand building and consumer engagement
  • Strong influencer and natural collaborator
  • Holistic thinker – establish and drive end-to-end project, strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions
  • Fluent in English and German is essential
