MCR BROADCAST TECHNICIAN (m/f)

Your area of responsibility

• Performing technical conformity checks on audio-visual content (live feeds and recorded videos)
• Doing necessary corrections on ingested content if required
• Operating playout/ingest servers and video routers for live transmissions
• Using transcoding and NLE tools for file ingest and correction
• Performing simple studio live transmissions
• Taking part in maintenance routines of broadcast equipment
• Troubleshooting equipment and coordinating with external support services when needed

What we expect from you

• Successfully completed training or study in broadcast engineering or equivalent
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Several years of professional experience as broadcast technician
• Basic knowledge of newsroom workflows and an instinct for the news business
• NLE skills to perform basic audio level adjustments and color correction tasks
• Teamwork capacity and flexibility
• Interest in technological innovation and motivation to learn
