Within B. Braun Avitum AG, Global Marketing & Sales department, we are looking for a Vice President (f/m/d) Marketing Wound, Ostomy & Continence Care who will lead the global marketing activities for our strong growing WOC business. As a proven marketing leader you will be responsible for developing and driving the current product portfolio and future product pipeline. You are able to foster collaboration and work closely with the Centers of Excellence, R&D, Sales & Marketing and Operations in various countries to ensure stakeholder and functional alignment and drive a culture of execution excellence.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Leading and continuously developing the wound, ostomy & continence care strategy within Global Marketing & Sales of B. Braun Avitum
  • Responsible for the product lifecycle management and realization of the financial goals
  • Drive the product development pipeline including definition of future innovations through a deep understanding of the global markets and customer needs
  • Develop and implement marketing and selling strategies for new and existing products
  • Responsibility for the value proposition for the portfolio based on customer needs and market trends as well as for the individual products
  • Continuously monitoring and adapting results in response to changes in customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, product trends and pricing / reimbursement practices
  • Maintain strong partnership with R&D as well as local sales & marketing organizations to ensure input from the markets to give direction for the development of the products
  • Support the countries in developing their approach and strategies for wound, ostomy & continence care management
  • Support countries in operational topics, launches and training
  • Participating in product and therapy-related events and congresses
  • Working closely with healthcare professionals in the out- and in-patient sectors

Professional competencies

  • Relevant University Degree with a strong focus on Marketing & Sales, preferable a MBA or relevant advanced degree
  • At least 5 years professional experience in relevant areas incl. managing teams
  • Professional experience in marketing, ideally international and in the medical environment
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English as well as German

  • Self-confident manner combined with strong entrepreneurial and result oriented mind-set
  • Transparent management style and ability to motivate & inspire within a distinct matrix organization
  • High market and customer orientation
  • Distinct capabilities in concept and campaign development
